Ferco Tech's Tube Fixture Manufacturing Capability
For many years in manufacturing fixturing has been one of the cost
drivers. Having fixtures available that allow quick set up, accurate
dimensional results and durability, lowered the cost of producing
parts. Ferco Tech has developed a fixturing approach for tubing
manufacturing that will provide these benefits.
Up until now fixturing for tubing has been crude and time consuming
to build. From the shops that have in-house facilities to the shops
that purchase tooling from a vendor, the historical approach wasted
a significant amount of lead-time.
Typically a Ferco Tech tube fixture can be produced in 48 hours
after engineering has completed the design. Our expertise in sheet
metal fabrication makes it possible for Ferco Tech to hold very
close tolerances such as those that are typically used on aerospace
parts.
