the quality of Ferco Tech's products and services is unparalleled.
The Operator's Acceptance Program (OAP) was established so that
we could accomplish the following:

Implement in-process characteristic audits.

Improve control of characteristics through
process plans utilized by all shop personnel.

Reduce post-processing inspection time which
also reduces shop cycle times.

Lower the cost of quality.

Integration of inspection reports into the
shop router reducing overall documentation volume.
The customer realizes a number of benefits as a result of Ferco
Tech's enhanced approach to quality. The customer receives a superior
quality part when required at a competitive price. This approach
to quality also fosters teamwork within Ferco Tech. The program
elements that allow the system to produce these results include:

Process plans inform the operator on how to
perform a given function to industry standards.

Operators are approved to these process plans
through rigorous testing.

Approved operators accept the hardware as it
is manufactured using these plans.

Characteristics are audited by the quality
department in process and at final inspection.
-
Any operations that were not approved by an
OAP operator are accounted for in final inspection per the plans
used by the operator.
